My Little Love has Arrived!
This is the moment I have been waiting for for what seems like EVER! My new little love has arrived! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Ascher Michael Jennings was born April 27th and Daddy and I are SO in love. He is such a good little baby!
Sweet Ascher’s birth was a little more difficult than we anticipated and I ended up having to have a C-section that we had not planned on so I am still recovering from that and catching up with some editing and housekeeping for the photography business but I wouldn’t change a thing since we have this perfect little person now!
Anyway, on to business! If y’all remember, I had a contest running to guess the baby’s name since we hadn’t told many people.
Congratulations to Jennifer Lynch Jarrett (whose comment I had deleted b/c I was sure I told her the name at our session, pregnancy brain!) and Laura Harlin! The two of you correctly guessed the baby’s name! My husband’s tattoo is of baby Ascher’s name (traditionally spelled as Asher) in Hebrew. The name is a biblical name from the Old Testament and means happy and blessed. We wanted to spell it with a “ch” because both my husband and other son’s middle names start with a “ch.” We like to keep everything connected in this house. 🙂
